Alumni Meet & Greet
Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education organized an “Alumni Meet & Greet” session on Friday, 19 October 2018 at DIHE, Main Campus, Karachi. The event started off with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After that, Registrar DIHE, Captain (Retd) Ahmed Zaheer welcomed and addressed the audience. He highlighted the importance of education for the successful future and overall development of students. Also, updated the Alumni about the latest developments in terms of expansion, getting more PhD’s on board, online application system incorporated at DIHE.
The ceremony was attended by DIHE alumni from various batches, senior management, counsellors and valued teachers. The young & energetic professionals from Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education who shared their success stories and memorable institute experiences with the audience included: Mr. Jamshed Butt, Ms. IshratTanweer and Mr. RehanWaheed
The Alumni experience sharing session was followed by the Rector DIHE, Dr. Muhammad Abbas Chaudhary’s address, where he welcomed the alumni “HOME” The Rector lauded the credentials of the the participating alumni and termed them as ‘Champions’ and proposed that they form the nucleus to garnish support / spearhead the future activities of the Alumni.He shared his experiences as an Alumni of his graduating university. He also emphasized on the fact that the Alumni are our brand ambassadors and the experience/ feedback they share within their social networks adds credibility to the Institute. In his address he also mentioned that good times and bad times are a part and parcel of the Institute’s learning process, working on the shortcomings and rising again is what he believes in, he said.
He also appreciated DIHE alumni for making a name for themselves in their respective fields and emphasized the need for organizing such alumni meets in the future to open up new avenues for students.
The event also included a brainstorming session by the alumni and current students, where future plans and ideas were discussed. The session was followed by a group photograph and Hi tea. We thank our Director QEC, Ms. Ambreen Asif Qureshi for sponsoring & coordinating this event. It was a very well organized event and everyone had a great time.
