Dr. Marium Bibi is an Assistant Professor and the Head of Department of Food Science and Technology at the Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education. Her PhD is in the field of Structural Biology and graduate in the field of Bioorganic Chemistry from the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, Karachi University, Karachi, Pakistan. Her Postdoctoral fellowship was from the University of Innsbruck, Austria and at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi. She has published seven research articles in the field of Chemistry and Structural Biology. She has also won a research grant from the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan for a research proposal in the field of Food Technology. She has six years of Post-PhD teaching and research experience at the university level offering courses in organic chemistry, food chemistry, research methodology, Instrumental techniques in food analysis and Food safety & toxicology at M.Sc., BS and M.Phil./Ph.D. level. She is also involved in supervision of research students in the field of Food safety, food analysis, and natural product chemistry (medicinal chemistry).Academic Profile (200 words)
