Dr. Tariq Mehmood is Assistant Professor and currently working in the Department of Food Science & Technology at the Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education (DIHE) Karachi. He completed his Ph.D. in Food Technology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and has worked as Research Scholar in Department of Food Science and Nutrition Michigan State University, USA. He worked in domains of Fruits and Vegetables Processing during his doctoral study, Characterization and Utilization of Citrus Wastes as Value added Fruit Leather. A number of publications are to his credit in reputed National and International journals. He has resear chexperience of two years in HEC funded research projects and served as Teaching Assistant in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and also worked in Micronutrient Initiative research project for Wheat flour and edible Oil fortification. He has participated in many national & International Conferences, Symposia, workshops, seminars. His areas of expertise comprise Fruits and Vegetables Processing, Food Analysis, Food Safety, Baking Science and Research Methodology
